Looking around I see a good dose of anxiety, not only due to the fear of getting infected by this historic virus or having our loved ones catch it, but also because of the fear of possibly losing our jobs, or projects and what this can mean to each of us financially. Many of you may recognize that black cloud, the one of uncertainty that at times hangs over all of us and for some may even harbor darker tints of anguish. But as our English-speaking friends say: “every cloud has a silver lining”. And what’s the “silver lining” this time? I’m sure there are many but the one I need to share with you, the one that pounds in my heart, is the intense resurgence and collective attitude of desire to go forward that we will soon see. And I mean “DESIRE” with capital letters. That which has been stopped or paralyzed will not only resume its march forward but will do so with verve. When we get down to work, our creativity and initiative will flourish. We will rejoice in new projects, celebrating progress, both ours and that of others. And all that, we will see soon.
